Bosnia’s Valley of Pyramids is one of the largest
complexes of pyramid structures in the world,
which a racts tens of thousands of tourists every
year. According to many experts, these gigantic
pyramids, which are hidden inside the hills of
Visoko, would be higher and even older than the
pyramids of Egypt!
Among the biggest a ractions of Bosnia and
Herzegovina, you can also see some remarkable
bridges, both in terms of their dimensions and their
architectural and historical interest. Unmissable
sights:
• The Old Bridge in Mostar, or Stari most, classified as
a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has been a symbol
of peace between Croats and Muslims living on the
banks of the Neretva River since its reconstruction
in 2004
• The bridge in Višegrad, with its elegant proportions
and monumental nobility reflecting the grandeur of
O oman architecture
• The “stone bridge” in Konjic (“Kameni Most”),
declared a national monument in 2003
