Arrive in the evening, in time for dinner. (B, D) Day 8, Friday, Explore Vilnius Vilnius, located at the confluence of the Neris and Velnele Rivers, invites you to explore its rich history. In Old Vilnius, visit the baroque St. Peter and St. Paul's Church, as well as the striking St. Anne's Church. Marvel at Vilnius University, dating back to 1570, and enjoy views of Gediminas' Tower and Vilnius Castle. The afternoon is free for further exploration, or you may choose to join an optional excursion to the peaceful town of Trakai, known for its scenic setting on three lakes. (B) Day 9, Saturday, to Riga This morning, depart for Riga - the capital of Latvia. The remainder of the day is free for you to begin exploring the city, with its captivating architecture, indulge in shopping, or take a leisurely walk through the streets. (B, D) Day 10, Sunday, explore Riga Embark on a morning sightseeing tour of Riga including the Riga Castle on the banks of the Daugava River, the magnificent Dome Cathedral, St. Jacob's Cathedral, and St. Peter's Church. Visit the Parliament building, the Liberty Monument, and the district of Art Nouveau houses. The rest of the day is yours to explore further, go shopping, or perhaps sample Latvian crepes. (B) Day 11, Monday, to Tallinn Today, our journey will take us to Estonia. The first stop is Narva - situated across the border with Russia. We then continue to Tallinn - the capital of Estonia, situated on the southern coast of the Gulf of Finland. (B, D) Day 12, Tuesday, explore Tallinn Embark on a walking tour of Tallinn's Upper and Lower Old Town, where you will visit the impressive Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. Next, explore Toompea Castle and see the 14th-century gothic Town Hall. The afternoon is free for you to enjoy at your own leisure.
