Visit the Rector's Palace , and see the Bell Tower Clock, Orlando's Column and Sponza Palace. Next, see the Dominican Monastery and Franciscan Monastery with its Pharmacy , one of the oldest in the world. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore on your own, enjoy the picturesque setting, shop or simply relax. Day 10, Sunday, to Mostar We continue our trip towards Mostar. Mostar is situated on the Neretva River and was named after the bridge keepers (mostari) who guarded the Stari Most (Old Bridge) over the Neretva in the medieval times. The Old Bridge, built by the Ottomans in the 16th century, is one of Bosnia and Herzegovina's most recognizable landmarks, and is considered one of the most exemplary pieces of Islamic architecture in the Balkans. Day 11, Monday, to Sarajevo Travel to Sarajevo, the capital of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The city of Sarajevo has been influenced by several cultures and civilizations over its long history. On your city tour, visit the Turkish Bazaar Bas Carsija , Husref Bay’s Mosque , the Olympic Stadium, and Gavrilo Princip Museum . Day 12, Tuesday, to Zadar Today, we head towards Zadar and set out on a walking tour of Zadar to admire the 16th-century walls built in by Venetians as a defense from the Turks. On to see the 16th century Port Gate where the Venetian lion still stands guard over the entrance, the Square of the Five Wells, Church of St. Donat, the Roman Forum (1st century BC) and the largest cathedral in Dalmatia, St. Anastasia. During our city tour we also take a look at the world-famous sea organs. Day 13, Wednesday, to Opatija Travel along the beautiful bay of Kvarner to its popular resort, Opatija. Upon arrival free time at leisure to enjoy this famous Croatian coastal city. Day 14, Thursday, to Pula and Piran We leave Opatija to take a stroll through the beautiful Istrian town of Pula. The city has a long tradition of winemaking, fishing, shipbuilding, and tourism. Pula was also the administrative center of Istria since Ancient Rome and currently hosts the most important Croatian film festival. Our city tour will take us to the remains of the Roman Amphitheater before continuing our journey towards the Slovenian coast and the small town of Piran. We take a walk through the narrow picturesque streets, where one can still notice an intense Venetian influence. We also pass by the Tartini Square, the center of the city. Accommodation in Piran / Portorož area. Day 15, Friday, depart Piran / Portorož After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport (Trieste, Venice or Ljubljana) for your departure flight.
