52 GUARANTEED LAND PRICE Every effort is made tomaintain prices as published, but fluctuating exchange rates may necessitate price changes, the current price will be confirmed at the time of booking, and will be guaranteed no to increase upon receipt of deposit. GUARANTEED DEPARTURES All our departures are guaranteed, and as booking progress, we reserve the right to close certain departures when fully booked. If a guaranteed departure is essential to you, check with us at the time of booking. We will do all possible to assist you. All Kompas' programs are conducted in English language. CHANGES TO ITINERARIES If necessary for any reason beyond Kompas control, Kompas can amend or cancel any of the arrangements for particular itinerary. Should insufficient numbers book the tour Kompas can close the departure. HOW TOMAKE A RESERVATION All bookingsmust bemade inwriting. In order to get confirmation of booking, booking form has to be filled in. All additional changes must also be made in writing and marked clearly on the original booking form where original booking was made. For late bookings (less than 45 days prior to departure), full payment is required at the time of booking. PAYMENT All payments should be made in currency in which the invoice is issued. Full prepayment is required. Final payment is required 45 days prior to departure. If we do not receive final payment by the specified date, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. In the case of billing errors, we reserve the right to re-invoice with correct pricing. Please note that all bank transfer fees and related charges arising from payments are your responsibility. Kompas shall receive the full invoiced amount without deductions. CANCELLATIONS CONDITIONS All cancellations must be advised to Kompas in writing. The following scale charges per person will apply when notice of cancellation is given after the booking is confirmed: 46+ days prior to arrival: free cancellation 45-31 days prior to arrival: 35% cancellation fee 30 - 15 days prior to arrival: 50% cancellation fee 14-00 days prior to arrival: 100% cancellation fee *Kompas reserves the right to modify the abovementioned cancellation conditions. Departure day is considered as the date Kompas' services begin. Additional cancellation charges apply for cancelled extra nights prior to/ and or after the tour. If Kompas cancels a tour, we will re-book passengers on the same tour with a different departure date or a similar tour. All re-bookings are subject to availability. If that tour is unacceptable, Kompas will refund the entire amount paid to Kompas with no additional liability. Kompas cannot assume responsibility for any additional costs or fees relating to the issuance and/or cancellation of air tickets or other travel arrangements not made through Kompas. CREDIT CARDS We accept major credit cards (Visa, Discover and Master Card). Credit card payments may require a completed Kompas Credit Card Authorization Form. CHILDREN The minimum age for children on Escorted tours is 12 years. All minors need to be accompanied by adult. Accompanying adults are responsible for the safety of their children, including to provide any necessary safety equipment where appropriate. INSURANCE Kompas strongly recommends insurance with your agent to cover cancellation charges, trip interruption, accident, and/or baggage loss. Kompas accepts no responsibility for damage or loss of baggage or other personal property. You are strongly advised to take out cancellation insurance at the time of booking. If you leave a trip for any reason after it has commenced, we are not obliged to make any refunds for unused services. If you fail to join a trip, join it after departure, or leave it prior to its completion, no refund will be made. TOUR PARTICIPANT OBLIGATION To ensure congenial membership, Kompas reserves the right to accept or reject any person as a tour participant and to expel from the tour any participant whose conduct is deemed incompatible with the interests of the tour group. HEALTH REQUIREMENTS Tour participants should check with the consulates and local health boards for the latest health requirements. No medical expenses will be covered for illnesses that occurs prior to arrival or on the tour. Tour participants must comply with all regional, national, and local health directives and requirements. It is solely your, and not Kompas', responsibility to prepare, and comply with all health requirements and directives. Kompas cannot and will not accept any liability for your failure to prepare and comply with those. If you encounter a medical issue, you must seek care. Kompas may remove ill passengers from the tour if there is a risk or a threat to the safety and health of other passengers. Kompas will not cover any additional costs for removal of ill passengers. TRAVELERS WHO NEED SPECIAL ASSISTANCE Any disability requiring special attention must be reported to Kompas at the time of booking. Kompas will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the special needs of disabled tour participants but is not responsible for any denial of services by carriers, hotels, lodges, restaurants, or other independent suppliers, nor any additional expenses incurred. Motor coaches and minibuses are not equipped with wheelchair ramps. We regret we cannot provide individual assistance to a tour member for walking, dining, getting on/off motor coaches and other transportation vehicles, or other personal needs. Travelers who need assistancemust be accompanied by a qualified and physically able companion. Motorized scooters are not suitable for touring. REFUNDS FOR UNUSED SERVICES No refunds will be made for unused services once travel arrangements have commenced. SERVICE INQUIRIES AFTER THE TOUR If after returning from the tour you wish to inquire about any tour services provided, please ensure that all correspondence relating to those services is received by Kompas within 30 days after the tour completion date. PASSPORTS & VISAS A valid passport is required for all tour participants and must be valid at least six months after the end of the tour. Your travel agent can help you obtain the necessary forms for passport application. All passengers, regardless of the passport they hold, should check with the appropriate consulates to determine if any visas are needed. Securing any needed visas is the responsibility of the tour participant. PROGRAM PRICES Program prices are per person, based on two people sharing a room. Single room supplements are listed where applicable. All prices are based on rates (including foreign exchange rates) known at the time of printing and expected to be in effect at departure.
