The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the winding streets of the old town or perhaps take an optional excursion into the countryside. Day 3 Zagreb – Plitvice Lakes – Trogir, Saturday (B, WR, D) We head south for a visit to the magnificent Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, we enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder with its 16 terraced lakes surrounded by forested mountains and lush vegetation. A walking tour takes us around several of the lower lakes. After our visit, we continue our drive to Trogir harbour, where embarkation begins at 14:00h. Get settled in your cabin before going on a short orientation walk through this medieval city. Trogir is sometimes referred to as “miniature Venice” or a “mini-Dubrovnik” because of its ancient walls, or a “floating museum town” - as it has a masterful architecture including some stunning Venetian palaces. After returning to the ship enjoy a Welcome reception followed by dinner this evening. Day 4 Trogir – Split – Milna, Sunday (B, L, T) In the morning, we will head towards Split where you will join a guided tour of Split with and visit the seafront promenade and Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace. The historical center of the city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will see the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle, and the Cathedral. After visiting Split, we head towards Milna on the Island of Brač with a swim stop, weather permitting, in one of pristine bays, time to relax and lunch on board. After lunch disembark in Milna and take a ride with us to the Olive Oil Museum where we will share with you the story of this island’s traditions and history and tasting of traditional homemade olive oil. Overnight in the town of Milna. Note: Due to the limited capacity of the Split harbour (reconstructions related) transfer by bus may be organized to and from Split town for the sightseeing tour. Day 5 Milna – Vis Island, Monday (B, L) Leaving Milna and Brač Island in the morning set sail to Vis. Cruise towards the island of Vis, once a strategic naval Yugoslav base and restricted to the public. Due to this isolation, Vis has a special charm – “the Mediterranean as it once was” making it interesting to visit. Since the independence of Croatia, the island began opening slowly to the outside world. Some of Europe's largest and greatest naval battles had happened in the waters of Vis. Vis Island holds many historic secrets and we will explore Vis history MajesticCroatia fromZagrebtoDubrovnik 10 DAYS FROM ZAGREB TO PLITVICE LAKES, TROGIR TO SPLIT, BRAČ ISLAND, VIS ISLAND, BIŠEVO, HVAR ISLAND, KORČULA, MLJET, SLANO AND DUBROVNIK K226Z ZAGREB KORČULA TROGIR
