Since the independence of Croatia, the island began opening slowly to the outside world. Some of Europe's largest and greatest naval battles have taken place in the waters around Vis. Vis Island holds many historic secrets and you can explore Vis history on your own by military Land Rover Defenders. Overnight in one of the harbors on the island of Vis. Note: Due to limited capacity at Vis Harbour (during peak season), the port of call may be substituted with one of the nearby harbours. Day 12 Vis Island – Biševo – Hvar Island, Wednesday (B, L) Early in the morning we sail to the small island Biševo to visit the Blue Cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon. The possibility of our visit will depend on weather conditions; however, you will be notified of this on time. Afterwards continue towards the island of Hvar, the longest and sunniest island in the Adriatic, with a swim stop and lunch on board. Upon arrival in the early afternoon, disembark and join a tour of Hvar by Land Rover Defenders. We will drive through picturesque villages and visit Lavander Farm, stop for wine tasting and finish with Donkey Farm where we will have a lot of fun. Overnight in Stari Grad or one of the harbors on the island of Hvar. Note: Due to limited capacity at Stari Grad Harbour (during peak season), the port of call may be substituted with one of the nearby harbours. Day 13 Hvar Island – Brač Island, Thursday (B, L) Early morning we head towards Milna on the Island of Brač with a swim stop, weather permitting, in one of pristine bays, time to relax and lunch on board. After lunch we arrive in Milna still known as the most beautiful and most protected port on Brač. Explore this Dalmatian town dominated by a Baroque church with a typical Dalmatian bell tower. The interior of the church is rich in valuable paintings by Venetian painters. Overnight in Milna or one of the harbors on the island of Brač. Note: Due to limited capacity at Milna Harbour (during peak season), the port of call may be substituted with one of the nearby harbours. Day 14 Brač Island – Split – Trogir, Friday (B, L) In the morning, we will head towards Trogir with a stop along the way to swim and relax, if the weather permits, with lunch on board. After docking, join a short orientation walk through this medieval city. Trogir is sometimes referred to as “miniature Venice” or a “mini-Dubrovnik” because of its ancient walls, or a “floating museum town” - as it has a masterful architecture including some stunning Venetian palaces. In the late afternoon we will take a ride to Split where you will join a guided tour of Split with and visit the seafront promenade and Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace. The historical center of the city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will see the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle, and the Cathedral. Enjoy your free time in Split and explore the city on your own. After an exciting evening, we transfer you to the ship. Overnight in Trogir. Note: Due to the limited capacity of the Split harbour (reconstructions related) we may sail directly to the port of Trogir. In that case transfer by bus will be organized to and from Split town for the sightseeing tour. Day 15 Trogir – departure, Saturday (B) After breakfast it’s time to disembark. You will be transferred to Split airport for your flight home.
