10 Day 1 Zagreb – arrival, Thursday (D) You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure. Dinner is on us tonight. Day 2 Zagreb, Friday (B) We enjoy a morning sightseeing tour that takes us through the historic Upper Town. We see St. Mark’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, the Parliament, and the Government Palace. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the winding streets of the old town or perhaps take an optional excursion into the countryside. Day 3 Zagreb – Plitvice Lakes – Trogir, Saturday (B, WR, D) We head south for a visit to the magnificent Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, we enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder with its 16 terraced lakes surrounded by forested mountains and lush vegetation. A walking tour takes us around several of the lower lakes. After our visit, we continue our drive to Trogir harbour, where embarkation begins at 14:00h. Get settled in your cabin before going on a short orientation walk through this medieval city. Trogir is sometimes referred to as “miniature Venice” or a “mini-Dubrovnik” because of its ancient walls, or a “floating museum town” - as it has a masterful architecture including some stunning Venetian palaces. After returning to the ship enjoy a Welcome reception followed by dinner this evening. Day 4 Trogir – Split – Brač Island, Sunday (B, L, T) In the morning, we will head towards Split where you will join a guided tour of Split with and visit the seafront promenade and Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace. The historical center of the city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will see the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle, and the Cathedral. After visiting Split, we head towards Milna on the Island of Brač with a swim stop, weather permitting, in one of pristine bays, time to relax and lunch on board. After lunch we arrive in Milna still known as the most beautiful and most protected port on Brač. Explore this Dalmatian town dominated by a Baroque church with a typical Dalmatian bell tower. The interior of the church is rich in valuable paintings by Venetian painters. Overnight in the town of Milna or one of the harbors on the island of Brač. Note: Due to the limited capacity of Split harbour (reconstructions related) transfer by bus may be organized to and from Split town for the sightseeing tour. Note: Due to limited capacity at Milna Harbour (during peak season), the port of call may be substituted with one of the nearby harbours. Day 5 Brač Island – Hvar Island, Monday (B, L) In the morning, we set sail toward the island of Hvar. Along the way, we take a short break for swimming, cooling off, and relaxing – weather permitting. Lunch is served on board before continuing our journey to Hvar. Upon arrival in the early afternoon, disembark and join a tour on Hvar by Land Rover Defenders. We will drive through picturesque villages and visit Lavander Farm, stop for wine tasting and finish with Donkey Farmwhere we will have a lot of fun. Overnight in Stari Grad Note: Due to limited capacity at Stari Grad Harbour (during peak season), the port of call may be substituted with one of the nearby harbours.
