Camp Nou is a football (soccer)
stadium in Barcelona, Spain and also the home ground
of FC
Barcelona.
It has a capacity of 98,787 - making it the largest
stadium in Europe. The Stadium is 48 metres high and
has a surface of 55,000 square metres (250 m long
and 220 m wide).
El Clásico, outside Spain called
El derbi español, is the name for football matches
between rivals Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. The
rivalry comes about as Madrid and Barcelona are the
two largest cities in Spain, as well as the two most
successful and influential football clubs in the
country. Real Madrid however can be seen as more
successful, having won 9 UEFA Champions League
Titles and 31 La Liga titles.
