Overview

This splendid tour affords guests abundant opportunities to get acquainted with the many varied attractions of the four capitals, both on informative guided tours and with free time to spend at your leisure. Oslo boasts a stunningly unique location, lovely Stockholm calls itself the Venice of the North due to its many canals and waterways, while the tour also showcases splendid mixes of architectural styles, from the amazing Art Nouveau of Helsinki to the quaint cobbled alleyways of Stockholm’s old town to Copenhagen’s colourful harbours. With fine cuisine and first class guides, it is an outstanding chance to see some of Europe’s best sights.

Itinerary

Touring: Stockholm - Helsinki - Copenhagen - Oslo 

Day 1: Stockholm
Arrive at Stockholm Airport, followed by transfer to your pleasant hotel and check in. (D,O)  

Day 2: Stockholm
After breakfast, a fascinating guided tour of Stockholm takes us to famous sights like the Royal Palace, the gorgeous island of Djurgården, the Old Town with its narrow cobbled streets and numerous antique shops, and the fine City Hall with its famous Blue and Golden Rooms. Afternoon at your leisure (B,D,O)  

Day 3: Stockholm - Helsinki
A free morning to further explore lovely Stockholm, and perhaps shop for a few interesting souvenirs. Afternoon transfer by coach for your scenic cruise across the sea, sailing slowly through the Stockholm archipelago past numerous attractive small islands to wonderful Helsinki.  (B,D,O)  

Day 4: Helsinki - Stockholm
Arrive in Helsinki, with a morning guided tour of the best sights. Your afternoon is free to explore this fine city featuring numerous Art Nouveau treasures at your leisure, and perhaps indulge in a little shopping. Return ferry to Stockholm. (B,D,O)  

Day 5: Stockholm - Jönköping - Smĺland - Skĺne - Malmö - Copenhagen
Our tour continues with a pleasant coach journey to admire the southern Swedish countryside to the city of Jönköping, beautifully set on pretty Lake Vättern, continuing through Smĺland and Skĺne to Malmö, crossing the spectacular new Řresund Bridge to arrive in wonderful Copenhagen in the early evening. Day 6: Copenhagen
A morning guided tour of lovely Copenhagen, showcasing the Amalienborg Palace, Christiansborg Palace, seat of the Danish Parliament, the old harbour of Nyhavn, the famous Little Mermaid and many other popular sights. Afternoon free in Copenhagen, with dinner at the famous Tivoli Gardens. (B,D,O)  

Day 7: Copenhagen - Kattegat - Oslo
After a tasty Danish breakfast, your morning is at your leisure in Copenhagen to spend as you please. Afternoon coach transfer for your overnight cruise to Oslo, featuring a delicious dinner as you cruise gently up the Kattegat on your way to intriguing Oslo. (B,D,O)  

Day 8: Oslo – Holmenkollen - Oslo
We sail up the exciting Oslo Fjord, with a morning guided tour of Oslo to see the world-famous Viking Ships, Fram Polar Exploration ship, the amazing Vigeland Sculpture Park and other wonderful sights. A coach transfer to Holmenkollen follows, for a bird’s eye view of the city and fjord far below. (B,D,O)  

Day 9: Oslo
Check out and breakfast, then transfer to Oslo airport for your homebound flight. (B)
