Overview

This short break is a fine introduction to the delights of Hungary, a rising star in European tourism. Grand Budapest is one of Europe’s finest cities and has attracted visitors for centuries to see its spectacular architecture, such as the marvellous Hungarian Parliament building and various UNESCO World Heritage sites. It also boasts a wonderful array of fine culture, arts, galleries and museums, and, naturally, a host of excellent restaurants and stylish shops. Balatonfüred is a popular resort on the shores of beautiful Lake Balaton, and the final destination is the glorious city of Győr, which is a fine example of the local style of Baroque architecture. Combined with the fine cuisine and perhaps a glass of local wine in the evenings, this tour is an ideal chance to see some of Hungary’s finest attractions.
