Overview

This is the Grand tour of Croatia and its Adriatic coast. Discover almost all the monuments/sites under the United Nation preservation program in the region and enjoy some exquisite food in specially selected local restaurant.

Itinerary

Touring: Zagreb - Plitvice - Paklenica National Park - Zadar - Krka Waterfalls - Šibenik - Trogir - Split - Korčula - Dubrovnik - Montenegro - Dubrovnik

Day 1: Zagreb
Upon arrival at Zagreb Airport, transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight. (D,O)

Day 2: Zagreb – Plitvice
Morning city tour of Zagreb, to experience the past and present of Zagreb by passing through the streets of Lower and Upper town, by visiting the famous arcades and sculptures of Mirogoj Park Cemetery, by entering inside the Zagreb cathedral. After S/S tour of Zagreb depart for Plitvice Lakes, the largest national park in Croatia, under the protection of UNESCO for it's natural beauty. Arrival to Plitvice and afternoon tour of the Plitvice Lakes National Park. Dinner and overnight in Plitvice. (B,D,O)

Day 3: Plitvice - Paklenica National Park – Zadar
Departure for Paklenica National Park, known for its unique Karst landscape consisting of Great and Small Paklenica Canyon. After a sightseeing visit of the park departure for Zadar, sightseeing tour of Zadar, the oldest Slavic city on the Adriatic. We pause here for an orientation tour that includes the ruins of the Roman Forum, the Cathedral and St. Donat Church. Dinner and overnight in Zadar.  (B,D,O)

Day 4: Zadar - Krka Waterfalls National Pak - Šibenik - Trogir – Split
Morning departure to Krka Waterfalls National Park. Touring of the waterfalls and a boat ride to the islet of Visovac for a visit of the Franciscan Monastery. Continuation to Sibenik, located in a picturesque and wide bay at the mouth of the River Krka. It lies on the slopes of the hills in the northern part of the bay, surrounded by three fortresses: St.Michael's, St.John's and Šubićevac. Visit of the Cathedral of St Jacob /15th century/, a masterpiece of the Gothic-Renaissance Art. We continue to Trogir,  and the visit of a a picturesque medieval town, including a visit to the Cathedral of St Lawrence with its magnificent Romanesque portal. Dinner and overnight in Split. Day 5: Split - Dubrovnik
Morning city tour of Split Split offers you its many charms; the pines of the Marjan forest in the western part of the peninsula, the murmur of the sea and the sound of the Dalmatian song in the stone streets of the city. Visit includes the Diocletian Palace (3rd century A.D.) with Peristyle, and Jupiter`s Temple. In the afternoon departure to Dubrovnik. Dinner and overnight in Dubrovnik. (B,L,D,O)

Day 6: Dubrovnik
Sightseeing tour of Dubrovnik, which is on UNESCO-s list of Cultural Heritage. A pleasant walk will take you to the Franciscan Monastery with it's 14th-century Pharmacy, Dominican Monastery, Rector`s Palace and the Cathedral. In the afternoon optional visit of the city walls with magnificent fortresses and towers. Dinner and overnight in Dubrovnik. (B,L,D,O)

Day 7: Dubrovnik - Mljet island National Park

Full day excursion to the Island of Mljet. The island of Mljet is one of the loveliest and most densely wooded islands in the Adriatic. the main attractions are two salt-water lakes (Great and Small lake) with the old Benedictine Monastery in the middle of the Great Lake there is an islet. Dinner and overnight in Dubrovnik. (B,L,D,O)

Day 8: Dubrovnik - Departure
After breakfast, transfer to the Airport Dubrovnik.
