Overview
The Baltic states of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia are gorgeous places that have only recently become major stars on the European tourism stage. While each have their own recognisable characteristics, they share many things in common, such as the genuinely welcoming and warmly hospitable people, lively cultural lives, marvellous architecture as well as charming customs and traditions. The three capitals are bustling places with splendid mixes of building styles, from the stunning Art Nouveau of Riga and Helsinki to the medieval delights of Vilnius. With fine restaurants with local and international delicacies, and plenty of opportunities to shop, this intriguing tour offers something for everyone.
Itinerary
Touring: Vilnius - Riga - Tallinn - Helsinki
Day 1: Vilnius
Arrive at Vilnius Airport, followed by panoramic
city tour of lovely Vilnius, the largest city in and
capital of Lithuania. (D, O)
Day 2: Vilnius
The
morning features a panoramic tour of Vilnius and a
walking tour of the lovely medieval Old Town. We
then proceed to the gorgeous town and lake resort of
Trakai, and lastly to pretty Kaunas to see its old
town, the ruins of the 13th century castle, the town
hall and cathedral. (B, D, O)
Day 3: Riga
Departure to the north via the intriguing Hill of Crosses
into Latvia to see the magnificent baroque Rundale
Palace, a former summer residence of the Duke of
Courland. After a guided tour of the 18th century
palace we travel to fabulous Riga. (B, D, O)
Day
4: Riga
Our spectacular scenic drive features UNESCO
World Heritage Site Riga’s best sights, such as its
splendid medieval old town and stunning Art Nouveau
architecture. Afternoon drive by the Lielupe River
to the pleasant Jurmala peninsula boasting many

Day 5: Tallinn
Our coach takes us to the lovely Estonian spa,
health and beach resort of Parnu, known as Estonia's
Summer Capital. After a brief tour we proceed to
beautiful Tallinn, where we have a panoramic city
tour of the highlights of Estonia’s capital. (B, D,

Day 6: Tallinn
Departure for combined bus and walking
tour features Tallinn’s main attractions, like the
narrow, winding streets of the pretty Lower Town.
Afternoon at leisure or for an optional visit of the coastal Lahemaa National
Park or Rocca al mare open air museum. (B, D, O)
Day 7: Tallinn - Helsinki
Departure for a ferry cruise that
takes us to Helsinki, and a morning sightseeing tour including Uspenskij Cathedral,
Finlandia Hall, Sibelius Park & Monument and the
Underground Temple. Afternoon at leisure in Helsinki

Day 8: Helsinki
Check out and
transfer to Helsinki airport. (B)
