If you wish to discover the full South-East European Adriatic coast we can only recommend this 15 days tour. The journey will take you from Antique Greece and its Acropolis to the Austro-Hungarian charm of Zagreb, via Macedonia, Albania and the magnificent Croatian coast. You will enjoy the contact with a great diversity of cultures and experience first hand the hospitality and the delicacies of a region yet to be fully discovered.
Itinerary
Touring: Athens - Delphi -
Kalambaka - Ohrid - Tirana - Dubrovnik - Split -

Day 1: Athens
You will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy
a welcome dinner in a traditional Greek tavern in
the old part of Athens, in Plaka. (D,O)
Day 2: Athens
After breakfast, half day Athens S/S Tour, a
cosmopolitan and bustling capital city. Visit the
immortal Acropolis with each architectural
masterpiece, the Parthenon, , the Erectheum with the
Porch of the Meidens, and the Temple of Nike Apertos,
the Wingless Victory. Below the Acropolis lie the
Ancient Agora and the Theaters of Dionyssos and
Herodus Atticus. Afternoon free. Dinner and

Day 3: Athens – Delphi – Kalambaka
Departing to Delphi, where the famous Delphi oracle
once foretold the destiny of men. Visit of the
temple of Apollo. Also see the sacred Way, the
stadium and the Castilian Fountain. Visit the
Archaeological Museum of Delphi. Continue to
Kalambaka. Dinner and overnight at hotel. (B,L,D,O)
Day 4: Kalambaka – Ohrid
After breakfast, “climb to the top of the Meteora,
known as “The rocks that fell from the Sky”, where
monks built their nests away from civilization.
Continue to Ohrid, stopping at Bitola on the way.

Day 5: Ohrid – Tirana
We start our morning sightseeing tour at Lakeside
resort Ohrid with a walk through the cobblestone
streets of the old town including entrance to the
Cathedral of St. Sofia, containing some magnificent
frescoes from the 10th century. In the early
afternoon we continue towards Tirana, capital of
Albania. Dinner, overnight. (B,L,D,O)
Day 6: Tirana
Morning sightseeing tour: see the Sheshi Skenderbej
(Skanderbeg Square), the Palace of Culture and the
mosaic on the facade of the National History Museum
represents the flow of Albanian history. The Puppet
Theatre has a surprising past: before World War II,
it housed King Zog`s Parliament. Other significant
buildings here include the imposing red-brick
National Bank, the Ethem Bey Mosque, and the
Skanderbeg Statue. Afternoon free. Dinner and

Day 7: Tirana – Dubrovnik
After breakfast we leave towards town of Shkodra,
nowdays a major cultural center. We have views of
the Rozafa Castle, magnificently situated on a rocky
outcrop of limestone high above the city, before we
cross the border to Montenegro and drive via Bar,
Budva and Herceg Novi towards Dubrovnik. Dinner upon
arrival. Overnight at hotel. (B,L,D,O)
Day 8: Dubrovnik
Walking tour of "Old Dubrovnik" this morning; the
Rector’s Palace, Bell Tower clock, Orlando’s Column
and the Sponza Palace. You will also see the
Dominican Monastery and Franciscan Monastery with
its Pharmacy, one of the oldest in the world. The
rest of the day is at leisure. (B,L,D,O)
Day 9: Dubrovnik
Full day at leisure. (B,O)
Day 10: Dubrovnik – Split
Departure north to Split along the spectacular
Adriatic coast. Enjoy a city tour featuring the
historic inner city, built around Roman Emperor
Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural
Heritage site. See remnants of Split’s Roman
heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures,
Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle and the Cathedral.

Day 11: Split – Trogir - Plitice lakes
After breakfast, we head north along the coast to
Trogir. Our journey continues as we turn inland
towards the beautiful Plitvice Lakes National Park,
listed in UNESCO’s World Heritage list. Upon arrival
we will take the walking tour around several of the
lower lakes and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of
this natural wonder of 16 terraced lakes surrounded
by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation .

Day 12: Plitvice lakes – Opatija – Postojna –
Bled
We return to the coast to the beautiful bay of
Kvarner and its popular resort, Opatija. Then we
head north to Postojna, home of one of the largest
caves in Europe. Here we tour the fantastic
subterranean world by miniature electric train.
Afterwards, our journey continues to Bled,
beautifully situated in the Julian Alps. 352 km

Day 13: Bled
Our morning sightseeing tour features the town of
Bled with the lake-shore, and includes a visit to
the Bled Castle, perched on a cliff high above the
lake. Balance of the day at leisure for optional
activities, such as visiting the old church with a
collection of religious art on a small island in the
middle of the lake. (B,O)
Day 14: Bled – Ljubljana – Zagreb
We will start the day with the tour of Ljubljana,
the capital of Slovenia, where we will visit all the
most significant sights of the old city centre: the
open-air Central Market and the Three Bridges, both
works of Joze Plecnik, a famous 20th-century
architect, Baroque Town Hall and Robba's Fountain.
Then, proceed to Zagreb, the capital city of Croatia.

Day 15: Zagreb
This morning enjoy Zagreb City Tour that tour will
take you along the historic Upper Town, to see the
St. Mark’s Church, the St. Catherine’s Church, the
Cathedral, the Parliament and the Government Palace.
Rest of the day at leisure to explore the winding
streets of the old town or to take an optional
excursion with dinner into the surrounding

Day 16: Depart Zagreb
