Overview
This glorious tour of discovery
showcases Italy's most delightful treasures, all of
which should be seen at first hand at least once in
everyone's life. The highlights go from the
unrivalled majesty of Venice, where you have ample
time to explore on your own, to the romance of the
Renaissance art and architecture of lovely Florence.
We also explore the wonders of UNESCO World Heritage
sites such as famous Assisi, hometown of St Francis,
beautiful medieval Siena and historic Verona, as
well as the intriguing micro state in the mountains,
San Marino. The evenings are a time for fine Italian
cuisine and perhaps a glass of outstanding local
wine, making this an unforgettable tour in every way.
Itinerary
Touring: Rome - Assisi - Siena
- Florence - Padua - Venice - Verona - Como - Milan
- Bologna - San Marino - Perugia - Rome
Day 1: Rome
After arrival in Rome, our sightseeing
tour will lead us to visit Vatican, ancient Rome and
other beautiful sights of Eternal City. (D, O)
Day
2: Rome - Assisi - Siena - Florence
We leave Rome
for lovely walled Assisi, hometown of St Francis to
visit St Francis Basilica with early Renaissance
masterpieces by Giotto and Cimabue. We go on to
Siena, the beautiful medieval city famous for its
Romanesque architecture, then on to glorious

Day 3: Florence
A morning
guided sightseeing tour of the cradle of the
Renaissance to se its best sights, including the
beautiful Piazza del Duomo, the Cathedral of Santa
Maria del Fiore, Giotto's Bell Tower, the Baptistery
of St. John and much more. Rest of the day at
leisure for optional sightseeing or shopping.

Day 4: Florence - Padua - Venice
We visit
fabulous Padua to see the famous Cathedral of St
Anthony, guarded by Donatello's ‘Gattamelata’, then
go on to world famous Venice to enjoy a guided
walking tour of this unique city. You will see the
stunning St. Mark’s Piazza and Basilica, the Doge's
Palace and the Bridge of Sighs, then visit a glass
factory to see the glass moulding. (B,L,D,O)
Day
5: Venice
After breakfast, a day at leisure to
further explore the wonders of Venice as you please,
or choose an optional tour to the attractive islands
of Murano, Burano and Torcello by motorlaunch.

Day 6: Venice - Verona - Lake Como
A
morning departure to spectacular Verona to see the
town of Romeo and Juliet, famous for the lovely
Piazza delle Erbe, Roman Arena and Castelvecchio
Bridge. Our tour then continues to pretty Como on
the lake of the same name. (B,L,D,O)
Day 7: Lake
Como – Milan – San Marino
Today we head to beautiful
Milan and a panoramic tour of the city’s sights,
then onward to fascinating medieval Bologna, one of
Italy’s most important art cities, with its charming
Piazza Maggiore and Piazza del Nettuno squares.
Proceed to San Marino, the world's oldest
independent republic. (B,L,D,O)
Day 8: San Marino
- Perugia - Rome
We go to Perugia, a charming
university town with a splendid atmosphere to visit
the impressive Cathedral and the Palazzo dei Priori.
Proceed to Rome, where our tour comes to an end. (B)
