Itinerary

Touring: Vienna - Ljubljana - Postojna - Bled - Bohinj - Heiligenblut - Cortina D'Ampezzo - Passo di Sella - Innsbruck - Vienna

Day 1: Vienna - Ljubljana
You will be met by your tour director at Vienna Airport and transferred to your hotel in Ljubljana, capital of Slovenia. Overnight in Ljubljana. (O)

Day 2: Ljubljana - Postojna - Ljubljana
Half day excursion to Postojna. Tour through Postojna Caves by special cave train, accompanied by experienced guides. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Ljubljana begins with a visit to the open-air market, City Hall, Robba's Fountain, the Three Bridges and the Parliament. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Ljubljana. Day 3: Ljubljana - Bled
This morning we proceed to Bled. Our morning sightseeing tour features the town of Bled with the lake-shore, and includes a visit to the Bled Castle, perched on a cliff high above the lake and a »pletna boat« ride to the Bled Island and entrance to St.Maria church.  Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon free at leisure. Dinner at a local lake-side restaurant. (B,L,D,O)

Day 4: Bled - Bohinj - Heiligenblut
Transfer to nearby Bohinj Lake. Brief sightseeing and panoramic drive around the lake with your through guide. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue to Austria, Heiligenblut. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Heiligenblut. (B,L,D,O)

Day 5: Heiligenblut - Grossglockner
Full day visit of Grossglockner Mountain Road with English speaking local guide. Visit the Kaiser Franz Josefs Hoehe visitor's centre, Grossglockner mountain by Gletscherbahn. Lunch and dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Heiligenblut. (B,L,D,O)

Day 6: Heiligenblut - Cortina d'Ampezzo
Continue to Italy, towards Cortina D’Ampezzo, the famous Italian winter resort. Lunch at local restaurant. Upon arrival sighsteeing of »chic« Cortina that  attracts guests from all over the world: kings, princes, movie stars, politicians, authors and business leaders. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight. (B,L,D,O)

Day 7: Cortina d'Ampezzo
Half day lake Misurina sigtseeing and its breath-taking views of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon visit of the mountain pass »Passo di Falzerago« where the views of the Dolomiti are truly spectacular with unlimited photographic opportunities. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight. Day 8: Cortina d'Ampezzo - Passo Sella
Transfer to Passo di Sella, continue to Passo Pordoi and scenic Lake Carezza. Lunch at local restaurant. Dinner and overnight at hotel. (B,L,D,O)

Day 9: Passo Sella - St. Christina - Innsbruck
We start our day by driving through Gardena pass and further to Gerdena Valley with a stop at St. Christina Village. Lunch at local restaurant, Transfer to Innsbruck through Brenner Pass. Dinner and overnight at hotel. (B,L,D,O)

Day 10: Innsbruck - Vienna
Transfer to Vienna airport to board your homebound flight. (B)
