Description
This is an ideal tour
for the autumn, if you are in the area. The tour
takes you to the Neretva river delta. On arrival at
the Mandarin plantation, you will be welcomed, and
served with dried figs and home-made Loza. In a
magnificent landscape setting you can also
participate in the harvest at the farms around.
Local music is provided to entertain you, and to
create a very relaxed atmosphere, which you can
enjoy close to the beauty of nature. You will be
provided with a PVC bag able to store 5 kg of
mandarins, which you hand-pick and take with you.
Afterwards, the Photo Safari takes you down the
Neretva Delta by the type of boats of e 100 yearsago.
You will see the rich flora and fauna in the Neretva
canals and swamps, in a delta environment unique to
the Neretva river. Finally, a meal is served in a
local traditional restaurant. Menu: fish or beef
soup, fish and spinach or chicken breast and
vegetables, a desert, a quart of wine, and mineral
water.
