Description
Skopje, the capital and cultural
center of Macedonia, attracts visitors for
spectacular sights such as its ancient Roman
aqueduct to the north of the city and fine Islamic
architecture including a famous Stone Bridge, the
Kuršumli Han (medieval Turkish inn) and several
imposing mosques. A grand 6th century fortress
called Kale overlooks the city from its highest
point, with the interesting Stara Carsija old town
below it. Skopje is home to a prestigious jazz
festival.
Itinerary
Day 1:
Transfer from Skopje airport to the hotel in Skopje.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2:
Breakfast at hotel, followed by sightseeing tour of
Skopje. The rest of the day at leisure. Dinner with
music in traditional Macedonian restaurant.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3:
Breakfast and leisure until transfer to the airport
for your home bound flight.
