Description
Ohrid is rich in picturesque
houses and historic monuments; it and its lovely
lake, which covers more than 350 square kilometers,
are UNESCO world heritage sites. It was once known
as the Macedonian Jerusalem for the number and
splendour of its churches. Its periods of Byzantine,
Bulgarian and Greek rule have left a lasting
impression, and today it is a charming tourist
centre with fine restaurants and lively and
entertaining summer theatre and music festivals.
Itinerary
Day 1:
Transfer from Skopje airport to the city centre of
Skopje for sightseeing tour Transfer to hotel in
Ohrid. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2:
Breakfast at hotel, followed by sightseeing tour of
Ohrid. The rest of the day at leisure. Dinner in
traditional restaurant with music. Overnight at the
hotel.
Day 3:
Breakfast and leisure until transfer to the airport
for your home bound flight.
