Description
Images keep following in: hilly countryside,
stonewalled pastures, green valleys, small towns,
sweet-smelling flowers, vineyards and olive
plantations, old stone houses, villages on the top
of neighboring hills, pine-trees and friendly
people.
"Tonina hiša" is a special museum, which
shows you old items and proofs illustrating the life
of the Istria inhabitants in ancient times. After
this visit we take you to the saltpans of Sečovlje,
where salt has been produced for 700 years. There
you can see the first salt crystals building forms
similar to flowers on the surface.
You visit an Istrian village with its characteristic
littoral houses, courtyards, stables and barns, and
hospitable inhabitants. Afterwards you make a toast
with a glass of home - made brandy, visit a wine
cellar, taste excellent wines of the region and have
a dinner in a typical "cantina" at a tourist farm
Krkavče.
