Description
A half-day visit to the largest glacier lake in
Slovenia situated in the region of the Julian Alps
mountain range, with the highest Slovene peak (Mt.Triglav)
rising above it. Take a 15 minutes' walk to the
source of the Sava Bohinjka River and afterwards
relax at the side of the peaceful lake of Bohinj.
Don't miss the St.John's church beside the lake
adorned with 13th century frescoes. If you are a
mountain-view-fanatic, take a ride by cable car up
to the Mt.Vogel (1600 m high), and enjoy in a
beautiful scenery of the mountains and the valley
with the lake.
